You won't see anything like this anywhere.  This beauty features opulent 14mm round violet silver pearls hand knotted in silk with two large pure 14K rondels bordering a rare Venetian Sasso* large center focal bead with silver foil and amethyst amber asymmetrical glass, closed with a pearl sterling clasp.  18"

*Sasso beads feature an interior body of gold and silver foil and small bits of Calcedonia heavily encased in clear Murano Glass. Sasso (or pebble shaped beads), are created entirely by hand so no two are exactly the same. Calcedonia Glass was first developed in Murano in the 15th Century and brought to the art world by the sculptures of Loredano Rosin and his brother Dino Rosin. Its secret is the silver nitrate added to the glass during the batch in the furnace. The silver reacts differently, depending on the humidity, the fire and when the bead is put into the fire. The color is never quite the same and it's truly an adventure to try and work with this incredible changing color glass. It's a costly product made and used sparingly.
