This estate sale Amy Kahn Russell pin/pendant is one of the strangest and most fascinating pieces Ive seen.  Almost tempted to label it a sea monster.  It features an extremely detailed carved wooden fish (octopus?) with a crystal eye, nesting on an ammonite base all bezel set in sterling silver. 2-3/4" x 1-1/2"
