Many years ago I found an amazing strand of rare Brazilian peridot green tourmaline arranged in a nesting geometric pattern. Green is the classical tourmaline color and within it there are many shades from deep bottle green to fine leek to olive green. This strand is also known as "rhubarb" tourmaline because there are subtle flashes of pink-wine as in watermelon tourmaline. They are the most rare and sought after and have increased in value since I got them. To complement this unusual shade, I finished it with a vintage Peruvian sterling silver peridot clasp. You will never find this anywhere so if you crave truly unique natural pieces, this is for you. 20"
