Hand-painted Russian Jewelry: Dove ONE OF A KIND

This hand-painted Russian lacquered miniature features a beautiful white dove circled by gold swirling clouds encased in thin gold strips. The black onyx pendant (1" x 3/4") has been painstakingly covered with many layers of oil paint, egg tempura, gold foil, and lacquer to create the dramatic effect.  The pendant, crowned with a 14K gold rondel and 24K Swarovski crystal, hangs from a gold wire wrapped chain of white freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals. 20"
