Handpainted Jewelry: Angel Ballerina

This hand-painted Russian lacquered miniature features a ballerina/angel floating on a radiant background of deep blues lit by a pool of light.  The black onyx pendant (1-3/4" x 3/4") has been painstakingly covered with many layers of oil paint, egg tempura, gold foil, and lacquer to create the dramatic effect.  The pendant, crowned with a 14K gold rondel and 24K Swarovski crystal, hangs from a gold wire wrapped chain of blue freshwater pearls and tiny sparkling Swarovski crystals.  28"  ONLY TWO.
