A dramatic 24K 2" cloisonne** centerpiece (handmade exclusively for me by a renowned Kyoto atelier) framed with black onyx slices, grade AA carnelian cut nuggets, 14K rondels, 18K clasp. Choose Full Moon or Quarter Moon
**Cloisonné An art form originating in China in the 1200s. A painstaking process created by skilled artisans in which thin wire made of silver, gold, or copper is gilded, then bent to form separate cells (cloisonné). Each bead can take up to four hours to produce. Dozens of tiny cells are arranged on the bead surface, filled with enamel color and fired. Then, each bead is polished revealing intricate and beautiful designs.

I selected this necklace as a B-day gift and waited months be be allowed to open it. It is stunning and the bonus is that is is not a heavy piece so it travels well.
I receive compliments every time I wear it. It has become one of my favorite pieces.
